They have made big strides in Business Opportunities at Home over the years and have made many improvements in the way they do business. I believe a number the same ones are still in business. MLM became known to me in the 60’s or 70’s. The first one that I heard about was Amway. At the beginning they had only one product to start their business. They came a long ways and almost everyone has either heard of them or may have become a distributor. Some people became involved more than once over the years of change. There were a few other businesses that may also have been MLM businesses at the same time.

From those first businesses came many others until now there are a huge amount of businesses. Many of them are good, and of course there are many others that spring up, and go for a short time and then fold leaving those at the top the only ones that made any money. This has given all of them a bad reputation, even the good ones. There are some that have used dishonesty tactics and have hurt a lot of people.

So how does one know what ones are good and what ones are bad? You have to do your homework and check each one out carefully. Check them out on Google first. As you study different businesses you will see some things that they all have in common. A good business will give you time to check them out. The owners of a good business will be there to help you. By helping you they will become successful. The company needs to be established and I think should have at least 5 years in business and 10 years is even better. Their product should be a valid product that everyone needs, not just a few. Are they offering a get rich deal and only a short time to get involved to be in on the pre-launch or ground floor? These are some of the most important things to watch out for and stay away from. No matter how tempting they sound, run the other way. If not you will lose. These signs are easy to detect.

Do they use leads to grow their business? Do they tell you how good leads work? If they do, I would let this alone determine how good the business is. Leads are very difficult to work and they are also very expensive. They are not an effective way to build a business. I have a home business with a company that is 9 years old and it is very professional and honest. They have a wonderful website that has everything there for you to be able to check out. With this business you can buy customers instead of leads. Customers buy product and I get paid a commission on the sale. This is an excellent way to build a business slowly and solidly. They have excellent products and their people in charge are very knowledgeable. They continually make new benefits for their members. It is a firm and strong business.
